Summer camp is a time to relax and rejuvenate, the school organised a special ‘Summer Camp’ for their students from May 18, 2015 to May 27, 2015.
The camp saw an overwhelming participation by 300 students, eager to avail the rich experience this camp offered in Sports, Craft, Music, Dance, swimming, taekwondo, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, lawn tennis, horse riding & athletics. Special Coaches/Trainers and expert faculty members held sessions every day.The School Ground was abuzz with hectic sports activities in Basket Ball, Football, Badminton, Cricket, Table Tennis, Short Tennis, Taekwondo, Skating, Yoga and Swimming. There were over 15 Sports Teachers and Trainers present to sharpen the students’ skills in sports.
2nd T.T. Tournament
2nd Late Shri HIRA SINGH SOBTI JI MEMORIAL (SOBTI CUP-2015)and District T.T. Tournament is inaugurated at our School 09/05/2015 to 11/05/2015. In which 25 schools and about 250 participants participated. The Chief Guest was of the tournament Mr. Brijesh Srivastava (S.P. Rural). Read More..
A special health check-up camp was conducted in the school premises with a view to keep students in the pink of their health. More than five hundred students took advantage of this camp. The main purpose of this camp was to facilitate early detection of deficiencies and general health of children.
The common problems that were detected included worms, vitamin deficiency, calcium deficiency, fever, cold and cough, tonsillitis, headache, dental, eyes and ears related and diarrhea. The parents were called and instructed to take the children for referral check-up by specialists for further treatment.
Workshops on Creative Food Craft Decorations
To nurture the creative bent of mind of children, an exclusive workshop on creative food craft decorations was organized in the school premises. More than 70 students enthusiastically participated in it. During the workshop, so many types of salads and delicacies were prepared by students and put on display in full decorations.
Keeping in view the fact that an early exposure to a varied array of skills and experiences is crucial in children's quest for their future interest and passion, an interactive photography workshop was organized to enhance children's visualization power and creative thinking in association with Noida-based Indian Institute of Photography.
During this comprehensive workshop, a complete overview of photography basics was explained to the participants by a top-of-the-line IIP Faculty in a friendly, amiable and entertaining manner. After a detailed theory session, came the turn of practical round in which more than 50 students fulfilled their creative urge and curiosities by clicking thousands of pictures in the school surroundings as per the tips and guidance of mentor. The enthusiasm of the students participating in the workshop was simply beyond expectations.
