Our Mother’s Day celebration

At Sobtis Public School, our Mother’s Day celebration was a heartfelt tribute to the beautiful diversity of India, where every thread symbolised love, culture, and unity. Mothers and their wards came together, embracing the theme through vibrant attire, traditions, and shared moments that truly reflected the spirit of togetherness . The celebration began with a graceful welcome dance, setting a warm and joyful tone for the day. This was followed by meaningful skit and energetic dance performances that beautifully showcased the bond between mothers and children, while highlighting the richness of our Indian culture. The excitement continued with fun-filled games, bringing smiles, laughter, and stronger connections. Watching mothers and their children participate together with such enthusiasm made the event even more special and memorable. More than just a celebration, it was a beautiful reminder that despite our diverse cultures and traditions, we are all woven together by the same thread of love. A day filled with joy, warmth, and unforgettable memories .

Investiture Ceremony 2026 “A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.” A spirit of pride and excitement marked the Investiture Ceremony at Sobtis Public School as the newly elected Student Council stepped into their leadership roles. The ceremony began with the auspicious lamp lighting, followed by the oath-taking, where young leaders pledged to uphold the school’s values with integrity and dedication. The vibrant cultural programme added colour and enthusiasm to the event. The responsibilities were bestowed upon School Captain : Krishna (XII A), School Vice Captain: Sonakshi (XII B), Sports Captain: Rozel Khan (XI D), Sports Vice Captain: Vinay (IX D), along with House Captains, Prefects, and enthusiastic young leaders from Classes III to V. The ceremony concluded on a high note of motivation and hope with inspiring words from respected Principal Sir Heartiest congratulations to all ??????—may you lead with confidence, courage, and excellence!

CARNIVAL CELEBRATION

Sobtis Public School celebrated the festival of joy and happiness – Christmas ???? by organizing a vibrant Christmas Carnival in the school compound ????. Students of all the Classes participated with great enthusiasm and energy ????. The programme began on an auspicious note with ribbon cutting ??, balloon release ??, and lamp lighting ?? by the School Principal Dr. Gurdeep Singh, and Vice Principal Mr. Prasoon Johri. The atmosphere turned musical with melodious Christmas carols ???? by the school choir, followed by energetic dance performances ???. A thoughtful speech by Kartikey (Class VI B) highlighted India’s cultural diversity ???? and the significance of Christmas ??. The grand surprise was the arrival of Santa Claus ????, spreading smiles and happiness all around. Exciting game stalls ???? by Classes VI–VII and tempting food stalls ???? by Classes VIII–IX & XI added fun and flavour to the carnival. A day resonating with pride and patriotism as we celebrated the 15th August, 77th Independence Day with fervor. The morning sun witnessed the triumphant march past, followed by the unfurling of the tricolor and the soul-stirring rendition of the national anthem. The esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Charanpal Singh, Chairman Sobtis Public School Bareilly & SR member of Board of Directors Mrs. Mandeep Sobti, were felicitated, adding grace to the occasion. The event continued with the enchanting performances by our talented students. The stage came alive with the spirit of Rani Laxmi Bai's valor and the innocence of Kindergarten students dancing to 'Nanna Munna Rahi Hu'. The rhythmic dance on 'Ghar Ghar Tiranga' united hearts in patriotic harmony. Honorable Principal, Mrs. Gunjan Sahni, extended heartfelt gratitude, and the festivities culminated in a sweet note with distribution of treats. Convocation Ceremony - 2023

????Flaunting degrees in their hands and faces brightened up with luminous smiles........... ?????? Sobtis Public School ,Bareilly celebrated Convocation Day for classes UKG, V and VIII on 11th February,2023. The program started with kindling of lamp by Honourable Chief Guest DIG Bareilly Shri Akhilesh Kumar Chaurasiya ji, Guest of Honour Mrs Seema Sobti and the School Principal Mrs. Gunjan Sahni. Students presented mesmerising dance performances which were appreciated by the audience. The Chief Guest DIG Shri Akhilesh Kumar Chaurasiya in his convocation address complimented the graduates on their achievements, also congratulated honourable school Principal and teachers for their dedication and hard work in shaping the students through education and other co-curricular activities. The most important part of the day- Convocation Ceremony started with the smart tiny tots of classes UKG, V and VIII dressed in graduation robes and caps walking up to the stage. The Principal along with the Chief Guest felicitated the students with Certificate of Graduation. Children looked stunning in their graduation robes and caps. The programme ended with the vote of thanks by the School Principal and followed by National Anthem. It was indeed a joyous and memorable day for not only the little ones but also a proud moment for the parents and the mentors as they witnessed their children receiving their Graduation Day Diplomas from the guests. May God bless these young “graduates” as they continue their education in the main stream of the school!

The demonstration aimed to educate the public on the dangers of reckless driving and the need for pedestrians to be aware of their surroundings. The students also distributed pamphlets and held interactive sessions to encourage people to make safety a priority while on the road.

Gandhi Jayanti Assembly

Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti are celebrated on 2nd October every year to mark the birth anniversaries of the Gandhi Ji and Shastri Ji. Gandhi Ji was the practitioner of Ahinsa (Non Violence) so this day is also celebrated as the International Day of Non Violence by the United Nations. Lal Bahadur Shastri ,India's second Prime Minister, was one of the greatest Indian leaders and is also known for his contributions to the freedom struggle of India. A special assembly was conducted to pay tribute to both our leaders. Capacity Building Programme

Sobtis Public School in association with Centre of Excellence (COE)-CBSE Noida, organized a Capacity Building Programme on REMODELLED STRUCTURE OF ASSESSMENT for teachers of Bareilly district under the able guidance of our School Principal Mrs. Gunjan Sahni. The day started on a highly positive note with Principal Ma'am addressing the entire gathering. She emphasized the need to incorporate multi-dimensional tools in academic assessment to cater to the diverse set of students studying in Indian classrooms. Holistic progress cards with 360-degree assessment incorporating peer & self-assessment across all domains; use of descriptive parameters with a focus on assessing competency-based learning outcomes is the need of the hour. Principal ma'am also motivated teachers to continuously upscale themselves by committing to lifelong learning and undergoing rigorous training. The resource person for the day, Mr. Rajiv Mohan Pandey, elucidated further on several aspects of Assessment. Participants were actively involved in exciting activities throughout the day. Teachers from 44 schools of Bareilly participated in this training workshop making it an absolute hit.

Graduation Ceremony

"Graduation is an exciting time. It is both an ending and a beginning. It is warm memories of the past and big dreams for the future” SOBTIS PUBLIC SCHOOL Kindergarten and Grade V Graduates fastened their belts, buckled up their shoes to take a step ahead in their lives as the Graduation Ceremony finally unfolded on 15th February 2020. The day began with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony followed by the felicitation of Cheif Guest Mrs. Parul Malik, president of NGO (Choti Si Aasha).Jems of Upper Kindergarten and Grade V mesmerised the audience with their melodious rendition of songs and enthralling dance performances. Mr. Amitav, proud father of meritorious student of Sobtis Public School shared his experiences in the school. The air turned crisp and cool when Avni, Grade V graduate express her pride to be a SOBTIAN. The excitement was doubled when Chief Guest Mrs Parul Dhawan, along with School Director Miss Akriti Sobti & School Principal Mrs. Gunjan Sahni , presented the Graduation degrees to young Graduates. School Coordinator, Miss Uzma congratulated young Graduates for successfully completing foundation study years and blessed them for a brighter future ahead. Young graduates were elated beyond measure as they finally tossed their caps in the air......

FAREWELL OF BATCH 2020

GOODBYES ARE NOT FOREVER, GOODBYES ARE NOT THE END. THEY SIMPLY MEAN, WE'LL MISS YOU, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN..... BIDDING GOODBYE TO LOVING SOBTIANS WASN'T EASY! In an emotionally overwhelming atmosphere, SOBTIS PUBLIC SCHOOL echoed with blessings, reflections, sentiments, and gratitude when the entire grade 11 students and teachers came together to bid farewell to the outgoing batch of 2019-20. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers to reminisce joyous moments. The ambience glittered appropriately in attractive hues. The young ladies glowed in beautifully draped sarees, and the gentlemen carried themselves smartly, looking dapper. The extravagant ceremony was graced with the benign presence of the Hon’ble Director Miss Akriti Sobti and Hon'ble Principal Mrs. Gunjan Sahni who acknowledged the students and wished them all the best as they stride into the future. A cultural presentation staged by the students of Class XI had a mix of scintillating dance performances, entertaining theatre, melodious songs, and pulsating music that was enjoyed by one and all. The Students of class XII in their farewell speeches mused fondly about their learning in school and looked forward with keenness to their future, calling this juncture not an end but a bend in their journey of life. It was a sight to behold as the batch of 2019-20 showed up in their finery and sashayed on the ramp amidst thunderous applause. The hall roared with applause as specially composed titles were presented to the students. The grand function culminated with teary-eyed hugs, selfies, cake cutting and scrumptious lunch. The enthusiastic zealots were bound to take back wonderful and celebratory memories of the day. Although these young Sobtians may seem separated by time and distance in the short term, nothing will diminish the vital role that they have and always will play in the history of their school.

Annual Sports Day

The much-awaited Annual Sports Day was a day filled with fervor, exhilaration amidst cheers and thrills. SOBTIANS showcased their athletic acumen, exhibited their physical fitness and displayed their dancing skills. The sports meet was declared open by the school Principal Mrs Gunjan Sahni by releasing the balloons into air. The oath-taking ceremony was followed by yoga demonstration & different kinds of races like Ready to School, Jelly Fish, Tunnel & Hurdle, Hula Hoop, skipping race etc. Students of classes 7, 8 & 9 participated in shot put & relays. The cheering teams worked as an energy booster for all the participants. The memories of this stupendous event are permanently etched in the minds and hearts of all those who were witness to the sportspersons who were truly indomitable and invincible in the sporting arena. At the end, School Principal, Mrs.Gunjan Sahni appreciated the students for their energetic performances by awarding them and outlined the value of sports and games in child's life.

The much awaited event of the year, SOBTIS PUBLIC SCHOOL'S Annual day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and high spirits. The mega event was graced by eminent CHIEF GUEST: Mr Dharmendra kashyap (MP); GUESTS OF HONOUR: Dr. Umesh Gautam (Mayor, Bareilly); Dr Arun Kumar ( MLA); Dr. Shyam Biharilal (MLA) School Chairman- Mr. Charanpal Singh Sobti, Mrs Seema Sobti, Director- Mr. Divyajot Singh Sobti, Deputy Director- Miss Akriti Sobti & Principal- Mrs. Gunjan Sahni graced the occasion and began the day with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony followed by the electrifying Ganapati dance which left the audience wanting for more. Tiny toddlers of kindergarten won the hearts of audience as they tapped their feet to the tunes of clap your hands, Spiderman & Hakuna matata. School Principal, Mrs. Gunjan Sahni took pride in presenting the annual report of the school. All achievers of the session including the school toppers were awarded by the eminent guests for the evening. Being just technical wizards and moral illiterates we can't live happily. Hence students took inspiration from the lives of various renowned personalities like Mahatma Gandhi, Shravan Kumar, Sister Nivedita, Eklavya, Sidharta, Raja RamMohan Roy, Neerja, APJ Abdul Kalam & Caption Vikram Batra and presented various acts giving message of kindness and humanity. LE MERITE : CELEBRATION OF VIRTUES - The Ballet which depicted the panorama of moral values, was an attempt to display how SPS grooms students of different characters & hues and carves them all into gemstones. All performances by students conveyed that this annual day was not just about celebration but a dedication towards virtues. The day came to an end with a vote of thanks by School Principal Mrs. Gunjan Sahni followed by the national anthem.

BIDDING GOODBYE TO LOVING SOBTIANS WASN'T EASY! A joyous, excited and sentimental grade 11 recently played the perfect host to the Farewell Party for grade 12. The morning was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers and to reminisce joyous moments.The thought provoking speech by Principal touched the heart of each 12th grader as she motivated them to achieve great heights in life. Scintillating, graceful, foot tapping dance performances captivated the audience and left them asking for more. The highlight of the event was the Personality contest. Each nominee gave the judges plenty to think over. Interspersed with music, dance and entertaining stage shows, the farewell party culminated with the announcement of the prizes for the winners of the Batch of 2019 and the cake cutting ceremony.

"Appreciation is like a magic wand that can boost morale and infuse students with much needed confidence" The most awaited Annual Prize Giving 2019 finally unfolded on 3rd february 2019 with 190 Sobtians receiving recognition in different spheres of activities & competitions held throughout the academic year 2018 -19. The day began with felicitation of chief guests Mrs. & Mr Ranjan Kumar, Mrs & Mr Sudev Panda,Mrs & Mr Ravi Srivastava ,Mrs & Mr R K Saxena, Mrs & Mr Nitin Tyagi and Mrs & Mr Hardeep Gangwar who are the proud parents of outstanding students of SOBTIS PUBLIC SCHOOL. To seek the blessings of Almighty, the auspicious lamp of knowledge and wisdom was kindled by the chief guests. Mrs Gunjan Sahni, Principal of Sobtis Public School presented the Annual School Report 2018-19 and spoke proudly about the success and achievements of the school . She talked about the importance of striking the right balance between academics and co curricular activities and showerd her blessings on all students by advicing them to keep working hard and to embrace their future with open arms. Parents were mesmerised and took pride in watching their kids winning accolades. The day came to an end admist cheers. Creativity is inventing, experimenting, making mistakes and having fun. Yes! this was reflected in Kids Fiesta 2019 organized in Sobtis Public School, Green Park, Bareilly. The events were 1. Baby Show judged by Dr. Deepesh Gupta and Dr. Geetanjali Tandon and 2.Fancy Dress Competition judged by Mrs. Jyotsna Gulati (Principal Golden Fish Pre-Primary School) and Mrs. Rashmi Bhaduria, an educationist. The competition was followed by a Skit 'Healthy Food' by little Sobtians, dressed up in their beautiful props. The atmosphere was of fun and happiness.
